ESOX 4, Lakers 6.
One bad inning doomed the ESox in its second non-league game of the season when they took on the Minneapolis Lakers. Edina surrendered four runs to give up the lead and ultimately the game as they lost 6-4. The ESox capitalized on a few Laker errors to build a 3-1 lead in the 3rd inning. Ben Meisinger and Matt Voldness added RBI's in the 2nd inning while Nate Briscoe drove home Erik Quarberg in the 3rd. Edina walked two batters, allowed three hits, and committed three errors in the dreaded 6th inning which preserved the win for the Lakers.
