ESOX 6, Lakers 2
The Edina ESox rebounded with a much cleaner performance with a 6-2 victory over the Minneapolis Lakers Sunday afternoon at Braemar. Pitcher Chris Pettit set the tone by tossing 4 strong innings allowing only 1 hit. The offense was led by Dallas Jagelia, Reggie Dunlop, and Bobby Gregoire who all had multi-hit games for Edina. Dallas led Edina with 3 hits and Dunlop drove in a team high 3 runs. With the score tied at two in the 5th, Reggie Dunlop hit a 2 run RBI single to put the Sox in the lead at 4-2. Dunlop and designated hitter Jake Campion each added RBI singles in the 6th to provide insurance for pitcher Chad Volbert who closed out the game for Edina.
