Edina battled a tough Lyon's Pub team but came up short as they lost 4-2 on Saturday afternoon in the Victoria tournament. ESox starting pitcher Chad Volbert threw very well for Edina striking out 5 batters in 5 innings of work. The downfall for Edina was stranding 14 runners. The opportunities were there to blow the game open but nearly every rally was snuffed out for Edina. Lyon's Pub walked 11 Edina batters but the ESox couldn't make them pay. ESox catcher Pat Page continued swinging a hot bat adding a double.
