Edina starting pitcher Dallas Jagelia scattered 5 hits in 6 innings of work as the ESox came from behind to defeat the Bloomington Bandits 5-3 at Red Haddox. The victory improves Edina to 2-3 in Riverview League play. It was the 6th inning where the ESox did their damage to overtake the Bandits and it was the bottom part of the lineup that performed the damage. Catcher Matt Hulmer went 2-2 with walk, single, double, and an RBI. His RBI came in the 6th inning as he doubled into left center. DH Cory Cancakes added 2 hits and 2 RBI. Both of his RBI came in the 6th as he singled down the right field line. He eventually reached third base on an overthrow. The top three of Edina's lineup --Johnson, Dunlop, and Gregoire-- combined to go 1-11 but the lone hit out of the three was Brashad Johnson who added a single to drive in the 5th and final run for the ESox. Chris Pettit threw the 7th inning for Edina to earn the save.
