ESOX 12, Angels 17.
The ESox kicked off their first game of the year with an offensive showcase at Parade Stadium against the Minneapolis Angels. Although they were on the losing end, there were many positive things to take away from this early season matchup. Veteran first baseman Reggie Dunlop tied a game high with 3 hits and led the Sox in RBI with 4, going 3-5 in the contest. Catcher Sean Toomey, in his second stint with Edina, was also 3-5 with two doubles and a triple. Ben Levy started the game with efforts by Chris Pettit, Tim Schwartzrock, and Matt Voldness that rounded out the 9-inning contest. Newcomer Bobby Gregoire added a double and a single.
